Football 2008 is here!

S.A.A. is currently registering for the A.A. County Football League. We are getting an early jump on the season this year. Our mission this year is to bring out more kids than we've ever had before. So we are trying to make this season as great as possible. We are better organized, greatly motivated, and spreading the word as much as possible. We are also offering an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL on registration fees. If you sign-up before JUNE 14, 2008 the fee will be $130.00. You can call Louis Watkins or we will have a sign up day on JUNE 14, 2008 at SOUTHERN MIDDLE SCHOOL. After June 14 the fee will be $150.00 until August 1, 2008. After august 1 the fee will be 175.00. Your REGISTRATION FEE PAYS FOR Usage of helmet, Practice and Game pants with pads, Shoulder pads, Game Jersey, mouthpiece, and game socks!To sign up Contact:

Cheerleading is for girls from kindergarden to 8th grade.

The SOUTHERN BULLDOGS are now holding practices for the following age and weight groups.
    80lb.- 7 and 8 cant be 9 before Sept 1.
    90lb.- 8 and 9 cant be 10 before Sept. 1
    100lb. - 10 and 11 cant be 12 before Sept. 1
    12U - 12 and under. must be 10 by Sept.1. cant be 13 before Sept.1.
    13U - 13 and under. cant be 14 before Sept. 1 and still in middle school.

The Football Season is rapidly approaching but its not to late to sign up. The next weigh-in is on August 17, 2008 at South River High School. The first game will be August 30, 2008. So the time is now. Come be apart of the rebuilding of an out-standing football program with coaches who teach the game as it should be taught. Who also care about discipline and making our kids the best the can be on and off the field. We encourage our parents to get more involved in our program. We are starting a homecoming committee this year, as well as developing a volunteer schedule for the concession stand. We need everyone to get involved if we are going to make our program a success.
